If I do remember well, someone on this website recommended "Stranger in a strange land" of Robert A. Heinlein. Thanks, it was an awesome read.

I always wanted to write science fiction myself with main focus on improved mental abilities that aren't too far stretched. Like total recall of memory and the influence that that would have on the way capability is tested normally. Or just having more influence on leading your own thought processes. Or just being having a greater attention span, or ability to control your fatigueness by other means than sleep. And so on.
Appears, that I don't have to do that anymore. It's already written...

Thanks. wicked.gif

I don't know who recommended it to you... might have been me as I recommend it to everyone but it could have been anyone else who has ever read it. As, most people who read it feel the need to recommend it at least once to a person they think will enjoy it.

It is a great book. Not much more I can say about it... except it is safely in my top-ten favorite books and will undoubtably remain there. I really should reread it sometime soon.

SM, it was me that recommended it. I'm glad you enjoyed it! Spread the word LeslieLook.gif

If you enjoyed that - check out some of Heinlein's other stuff, "Time Enough for Love" and "The Moon is a Harsh Mistress" chief among them.

Don't forget Starship Troopers. The book is better then the movie and delves deeper into the political stuff that the movie tends to demonstrate but glosses over.
