Ouch... dumb ass in the yellow pants has a spinal compression fracture. That's gotta hurt.

WTF were they expecting to happen?

That's the funny thing about us humans.

Some are dumber than cows, and some
are smarter than most humans.

Everything in between is what makes us
what we are, an ironic wonder, a beautiful
misconception. KatieHmm.gif

... and yes, those two guys in that video
are friggin' morons. FrogsToadBigGrin.gif

I have come to the conclusion that children are smarter than we give them credit for and likewise, adults are generally more stupid than we give them credit for. Clearly, the open-minded, sense of awe and wonder that a child naturally possesses all too often gets lost or bogged down in the maturation process with the constraints of societal or familial pressures and taboos, especially where the underpinnings of religious thought are most prevalent.

Nevertheless, I can find some room for gratitude for the stupidity of adults (myself, included) for this is the source of much of my laughter. FrogsToadBigGrin.gif

My mother refused to let me jump off the roof when I was five years old. I was determined to test my parachute made out of old towels.

By the time I was SIX, I understood her reservations!!

I just know these guys are going to vote for Bush.... eek.gif

I really don't think that I could possibly agree with you more, Reach.

I don't know if I can speak for everyone but, my own children continually surprise me with some of the thoughts and ideas that come out of their minds.

I don't attempt to direct their minds in anyway whatsoever, I just make sure that whenever they have something to say, I stop whatever I'm doing, and listen.

I show them respect, and it has never been a problem getting it in return. Wendyshrug.gif

This seems really foreign to me since I was raised in such a way that respect is something that is granted upon demand. PageofCupsNono.gif

So, in a sense, I'm one of the in-betweenies that I mentioned above. I know that some children are somewhat smarter than most adults, and through observing the stupidity in a lot of adults, I realized that I might be wrong when it comes to shaping the mind of a child. Therefore, I just let them grow, and occasionally I'll throw in a little tweak if they need it. Wendyshrug.gif
